GoogleMap control not being rendered

Jan 30, 2012 at 4:38 PM

I am using the GoogleMap Control Ver. 6 inside an aspx page which is installed on  a Win 2003 server,IIS 6, framework 4.0 installed on it.

For some reason the GoogleMap control is not rendering correctly.  All I get is the background color ("gray") eventhough I am predefined the default lat and long.  Same aspx page on two other staging machines with the same Win 2003 server, II6, .NET 4 works.   Any ideas?

I've looked at all discussion for answers but have not had any luck.

Any help is greatly appreciate and thanks beforehand.

Thank You.

I had this problem too. My map was inside  ajax.net tabpanel, needed to change it to jQueryUI tabpanel and did all what is said in docs for that regarding google maps. If you start your map in a hidden div (display:none) it does not render correctly. (This is the case for example when the map is in the second tab of a tab container)

The problem can be solved adding OnActiveTabChanged and postbak = true.

set google map dimensions to 100%.

create a div for the map and asign de style OnActiveTabChanged

Div_GoogleMap.Attributes["Class"] = "MyGoogleMap_Container";
